Childlike Joy

I’m feeling so incredibly blessed by the woman on my team!!  Izzy is so gifted and constantly brings our team into a time of worship that is always pure and sincere.  Jesus really shines through her in those moments and I can tell that she will reach many lives because of her musical talents.  Hanna makes me feel so at home whenever I am around her.  God has blessed her with such a welcoming spirit that will touch so many lives.  I can already see the positive relationships and attachments that are forming here in Korea because of how absolutely wonderful and welcoming she is.  Emilee is a source of pure joy for me.  She is always laughing and smiling and holding my hand.  It makes me so happy to see that she literally is shining her light on a hill so that everyone around her is infected with her childlike joy.  Jessica is one of our team leaders and she is absolutely wonderful!!  She has one of the biggest hearts I’ve ever encountered.  Her love for the team and for the students is literally breathtaking and overwhelming.  Knowing how much she loves and cares for me is one of the best qualities in her as a team leader!  Stephanie is a woman that exudes 1 Peter 3:3-4.  She has such a quiet spirit that is absolutely beautiful in God’s eyes and I am so thankful for her!  She has been incredibly sweet and a open ear for me and many of the students.  Emily is the other female team leader and her personality is so genuine and the students cling to her so tightly!  It is such an encouragement to see how she leads by example. Lyndsey is our supervisor and she is absolutely brilliant!!  Her passion for the students is incredible.  She has been such a huge vessel for the Spirit this summer to speak to us and also the students.  She is one of those rare individuals that you know is going to do incredible things for the kingdom in cross cultural ministry.  Brooke is my roommate and friend from school.  Coming to Korea we didn’t know each other that well yet but it has been such an adventure.  I don’t know what or how I’d be getting through this summer without her encouragement and love.  I know that without a shadow of a doubt my friendship with her will be lifelong.  I’m so incredibly blessed by her encouraging heart and her spirit that is so full of grace and love.  

Basically, God is blessing me like crazy through these women and I couldn’t be more happy.  I will be so sad to leave them when the summer is over!  But I’m already so pumped and excited for reunion weekends! :)
